Frances Reitz was born on 5 Apr 1901 in Oswego, Oswego, New York.^[1][2] She was the daughter of Albert Rizzo and Rosa.

Frances married Ambrose Sagneri on 9 Jan 1916 in Oswego, Oswego, New York.

Frances passed away on 30 Apr 1976 in Oswego, Oswego, New York.^[2] She was buried at Saint Peter's Cemetery in Oswego, Oswego, New York.^[3]

Census Enumerations

1905 Oswego, Oswego, New York Frances (age 4) lived with her parents at 148 West Albany Street in the city of Oswego, Oswego, New York. Her paternal grandparents and siblings also lived in the home with them. She was incorrectly enumerated as a male in this census.^[4]

1910 Oswego, Oswego, New York Frances (age 8) lived with her parents and siblings at 10 Babcock Street.^[5]

1915 Oswego, Oswego, New York Frances (age 14) lived with her widowed mother and siblings in her paternal uncle, John Reitz's home at 152 West Albany Street. This is a strange entry because Frances and her siblings were identified as John's children, and Rosa was identified as John's wife. The census taker must have misunderstood the family relationship. Or perhaps John and Rosa did become involved for a time. By 1920, Rosa and her younger children had moved in with her married daughter, Christina (Reitz) Maniccia, and Rosa was identified as being widowed - which she was, from Albert Reitz.^[6]
