Biography
William was born in 1874. He owned and operated a junk yard at 914 Summit Lane in Bedford, Indiana. He was married to Harriet (Miller) Rainey on May 14, 1900. The 1900 Census lists he and his wife Harriet as living with his mother, Mary. His occupation is Farmer. His WW1 Draft registration lists him as being 6'2" with a slender build, blue eyes, and brown hair. It lists him as being physically disqualified for service due to a "rupture and bad eyes". He passed away in 1953. [1]
