Biography
Ida von Querfurt, is named in Annalista Saxo, as the daughter of Gebhard I, Graf von Querfurt, and granddaughter of Bruno von Querfurt, and his wife Ida. She is the sister of Burchard von Querfurt, and mother of Gebhard, and grandmother of Lothar III von Supplinburg, Emperor of Germany. (Pater huius Bruno dicebatur, mater Ida, frater vero eius Geuebardus dicebatur. Gebehardus genuit Burchardum et Idam, ... Ida peperit Gebehardum, patrem Lotharii inperatoris.)[1]
Her husband isn't named in this source, but a number of secondary sources, name him as Bernhard, perhaps the son of Liutger, Graf im Harzgau.[2]
