Welcome to the Scots-Irish and Ulster Scots Project

Mission

This project is co-lead by the Scotland Project and the Ireland Project. It is the effort of a group of WikiTree users interested in profiles related to the Scots-Irish and Ulster Scots.

Project members can take primary responsibility for relevant profiles or family groups and work on merging duplicates, cleaning up profiles, adding sources, and removing incorrect information.

How to Join

This Project invites further Project Coordinators from Irish and American perspective. Contact Amy Gilpin or Jen Hutton if you are interested.

To join the project:

  1. Ask Amy or Jen to add you to the project.
  2. Add "scots-irish" to your G2G tag feed.
  3. Check out the To-Do list below to find something to help us work on, and add yourself (or ask one of us to) to that task.

  3. Biography cleaned up and written out in complete sentences and paragraphs using the WikiTree Style Guide (can work with Profile Improvement Project for help)
  4. Attached family meet these goals, too
  5. Attached to the main WikiTree family tree (ask the Project:Connectors for help)
