17 February 1838 Bloukransrivier Natal massacre Bloukrans Monument The Bloukrans monument today lies about 13 kilometers from Colenso on a farm Van Heerden-335 14:31, 7 January 2023 (UTC) Assumed to be at Blaauwekranz as the date has been recorded as 17 Feb 1838 [[Van_der_Bank-9|Jaulanne van der Bank]. A daughter Catherina was recorded by BY GEORGE McCALL THEAL as having survived ^[4]
