Hi Jim, I am not sure you have the correct wife for Arthur Dan Dewey Dewey-2293, he was married to my great Aunt Helen.... who also died in Branson, Taney County, Missouri https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/29833727/arthur-d-dewey

However, I am checking with family to see if he was in fact married twice... hmmm interesting.

Jennifer,

He was definitely married twice. His first wife (Cecelia Manion Dewey) died in 1938. Last I checked, FG had the wrong year of death. Someone listed "Cecilia F. Dewey" who died in 1968, but I know that's not right because I have seen the death record. Maybe the headstone is too hard to read. I would add Helen as a second wife, but I don't know her maiden name. I have seen the FG record but it just shows Helen Dewey. Art Dewey was my grandfather's cousin. My uncle was in touch with him, but now both are long gone. Art had a brother named Robert (went by Ed) who died in or near Branson around 1994. Haven't found a cemetery record for him yet. Do you know if he's buried in the same cemetery?

Robert is my dads father, my grandpa. He and my grandma Mary lived in Branson MO and they were both cremated so there are no burial sites. They moved out to Branson following my grandpas brother Art who went by Abe, who is your grandfathers cousin (which is so cool!) He started up Silver Dollar City as the first Blacksmith, I love looking at him in this picture.. and I LOVED Silver Dollar City! https://www.facebook.com/sdcattractions/photos/a.10151532583512603/10158351635352603/?_rdr

Also, where did you find information on Robert and Mary's baby child? This is the first I have ever seen or heard of in my life... ?

Hi Jim,

I'm new to Wiki Tree. Just started my Pyburn search. Thanks for adding another Pyburn! Not sure how distantly connected we are but always fun to see more Pyburns anyway! Judy Pyburn Mittica

I first started out as a rookie, just working on my immediate family members. But as I found more connections I got better at working on my tree. I think you will enjoy the experience once you get comfortable being here. I know I have!
