Biography

This profile is part of the Nelson, New Hampshire One Place Study.

Hephzibah Prentice, daughter of Henry, baptized Jan. 23, 1731-2 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. [1][2]

Jacob Foster and Hepzibah Prentice married 13 Oct 1756 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. [3]

She died in 1811 in Munsonville [part of Nelson], New Hampshire [citation needed] and is buried at Nelson Cemetery. [4]

"(465) VI. Hepzibah, b. ; bap. Jan. 23, 1732. Married Rev. Jacob Foster, who settled at Berwick, Maine, afterwards at Packersfield, Conn. A numerous offspring are settled in New Hampshire and Vermont. One is Jacob, cabinet maker, Charlestown, Mass. " [5]

Research Notes

There is no Packersfield, Connecticut and the earlier name of Nelson, New Hampshire was Packersfield, therefore I believe "Connecticut" is a mistake in the Binney source.
