Biography
Margaret appears as Maggie E., born Sep 1884 in Missouri in the 1900 census. She lived in Nebraska with her widowed mother and several siblings.[1]
Maggie (age 19), daughter of Patts & Amy Clark, married Edward D Tibbits (age 30) on 4 September 1904 in Frontier, Nebraska, United States. His parents were William N. Tibbits and Olivia Arnold. Spellings are given as transcribed online.[2] They had 5 children with them in Washington in 1920.[3]

The sons were still with Maggie in 1930. She was divorced, working as a practical nurse. The three oldest sons worked in a logging camp.[4]
The sons married and she was alone in Klamath, Oregon in 1950.[5]
Maggie E died on 16 January 1954 in Multnomah, Oregon.[6] [7] A Social Security record confirms that Maggie Estella Tibbits, born 17 Sep 1884 as Maggie Estella Potts, was a daughter of John Potts and Amy Clark.[8]
