Euryclea Porter was born in Missouri.

Euryclea Porter died young.

Euryclea was born in 1881. She was the daughter of John Porter and Mary Trent. Family stories say that Euryclea and her siblings were playmates of Rose (Wilder) Lane (1886-1968). Eurycleas would have been of the right age to have been Rose's friend. Euryclea died May 6, 1891 in Mansfield, Missouri. Her grave stone notes she was a daughter of J.F. and M.A. Porter. ^[1][2]

Research Notes

Family tree notes taken by Darwin Follett give her name as Euracles, but the headstone clearly states Euryclea. I assume the headstone is correct as this was a name used at the time and the s switched for the a is just a mistranscription by Darwin Follett.
