Biography

John Pollock was born on the 23rd May 1855, at The Bight, Wingham, New South Wales, Australia, the third eldest son of John Pollock and Isabella Scott. ^[1]

He married Martha Elliott on the 12th April 1884, the event registered in Wingham, New South Wales.^[2]They were to have thirteen known children; six sons and five daughters, and twins who did not survive. ^[3]

John Pollock passed away on the 24th July 1935, in Wingham, New South Wales, Australia, aged 80 years,^[4]and was interred in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, where his wife would later be laid to rest beside him, and others of his extended family also lie.^[5][6]
