Memorial services for Richard G.A.Pohto, 60, of Mesa, Ariz., a former Painesville resident and retired clerk for the U.S. Postal service in Fairport Harbor, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Elks Lodge 549, 723 Liberty St., Painesville. Mr. Pohto died of congestive heart failure Oct. 13, at home. Born Dec. 21, 1930 in Painesville, he lived there before moving to Mesa seven months ago. He was a member of Elk Lodge 459 and Fairport Historical Society. He retired from the post office in December after many years of service. Survivors are his wife, Lucille (Mack); sons, Delbert of North Carolina and Richard of Painesville; and three grandchildren. His parents, Jacob and Julia, and brother Adelbert, are deceased. Exalted Ruler Scott Daniels of Lodge 549 will officiate at services. Arrangements were handled by Henderson Funeral Home in Mesa.
