Notes to Researchers and Descendants
- Complete Birth and Death Dates from California Death index. The index also listed his mother as "Lawson". A photograph of Junior's gravestone showed only the year of birth and death, but they matched the years in the California Death index. The findagrave memorial gave the same birth and death dates as the Death index, but didn't cite a source for that information. Likely it was known to the provider of the information or was obtained from a recorded county death certificate.
- Lee Pinson's social security Index record gave the same birth date as the California Death index and listed June 1986 as the death date, but gave his final residence as Sacramento, California.
- The identical gravestone lying next to Juniors is not for his wife, but rather his daughter, Terry Lee Pinson (1956–1982). Per the findagrave site, Junior's wife was
Jacqueline (Garrett) Pinson (1934–1958). The findagrave site shows that while Junior died in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California, he was buried in Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, Stanislaus County, California, USA.
