Biography

William was born about 1835. He was the son of William Pidwell and Grace née Jackson.^[1] He married Martha Elizabeth Briggs in 1888.^[2]He passed away as a result of pneumonia on 15 December 1898.^[3] He was a miner at Stawell. An inquest was held at Stawell on 17 December 1898.^[4] He arrived in Australia aboard the Tantivy on 4 June 1857.
