Biography

Samuel Myron Phillips was born at Livermore, Maine, on 14 Aug 1855, the son of Amasa Phillips and Susan (Morse) Phillips..^[1] He was living in her parents' household at Livermore in 1860 at the age of four,^[2] and in 1870 at the age of 14.^[3] In 1880, he was living with his brother-in-law and sister, Henry and Martha (Phillips) Rich, at Caribou, Maine, at the age of 24.^[4]
