Hi Dorothy, It looks like you may have some outstanding merges that need attention. You can find them by following the link at the top of this page under >My Wikitree>Watchlist, then hit the button that says Pending Merges. If you need help, just ask.

Thanks for helping with Wikitree

Hi Dorothy, Please re-review profiles for Dunning-589 and Dunning-1336(these are the same person, and she is a GGM) and merge, thank you

Hi Dorothy! My cousin who was tested did so at his sister's request/expense. She went further than usual and did more SNPs. I've been in touch with Ed Phelps who is "THE BLUE SALT BOX" of Phelps/Felps family. In order to find my line I asked about his DNA, and he asked for my paper trail. He confirmed it and shared his database and the Phelps Family Master chart, to which I need to add. We don't know of any yDNA to determine which William is the father of Thomas of MD 1683-1759. There is so much confusion about the Williams from Tewkesbury and Crewkerne."The Phelps Family in America" has many mistakes with information made up to suit the narrative, but without substance. We will keep searching for primary sources. I have a crazy theory about Thomas, but it's not for sharing here!
Below has been completed, please propose merge, ty

Dunning-589 and Dunning-1336 do not represent the same person because: Rejecting for now, because I cannot merge one of their children until the mother is resolved first. Dunning-589 and -1136 do need to be merged later.

Hi Dorothy,

Thanks so much for all of your work on William Phelps of Crewkerne. I am DNA tested descendant (through a male first cousin) of William b. 1660 England who went to Maryland. There have been so many misunderstandings on these lines and there are so many Phelps! I appreciate you making it easier for others down the road.

Hi Dorothy,

Re William Mead's wife Phillip. Torrey did have a record of him marrying "[?Kilvy] _______ " in England ca 1625-30. I have added a link to her profile.

You might want to set your Privacy to Private with Public Family Tree. The WikiTree programming needs to see your Family Tree tab to make DNA and other cousin connections for you. If you want to use the Confirmed with DNA notation, you should use the Public Biography AND Family Tree so that the explanation of your triangulation method is publicly displayed.

Please take a look at my profile http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Cooper-1 where I use Private with Public Biography AND Family Tree to see a list of some of my WikiTree cousin connections and my list of U.S. Presidential cousins.

Hi Dorothy,

Thank you for your message. I agree completely about the marriage sources. I adopted the profile today and that is what it had. I'm working to add more sources.

Was there a particular profile this was in relation to?

Hi orothy

Thank you for your interest in the ONS project. I would suggest naming your project "Phelps Lines with Origins in Northeast US" or something similar. If you contact the Categorization project, they may have some suggestions on how best to work the 4 subgroups. The FAQ section on the project page should answer most of your other questions.

Regards,

Doug
