Hello there ! Can you change the LNAB on Andrew Adams Grafton (abt.1722-) to Adams so it can be merged?

Hello Jathan,

I see that you have attached Joan Priest https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Priest-449 as a wife of John Blyssinge https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Blyssinge-1, with a marriage date that is after the death of John. Please review this. I'm not seeing a supporting source on the profiles. Her profile data is different from that of Joan Preaste Joan Joanne (Preaste) Blyssinge (abt.1549-abt.1575), and I am questioning the merge that is currently proposed for them. Deb G ~ Data Doctor

Hi Jathan!

Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members twice per year and it's that time again. Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know:

  1. If you'd like to continue as a PGM project team member. I've noticed that you haven't posted any edits or comments in the last 6 months to PGM profiles so it might be a good time to re-evaluate your likely participation level in the future.
  2. If you're happy with the team you're on (Research and/or Profile Improvement) or if you'd like to make a change
  3. Optionally, what you like since the reboot back in May or what you think could be improved. This could be something about Discord, or Google Groups, or managed profile spreadsheets, or challenge participation or really anything. If you like everything the way it is, you can let me know that too :)

If you'd like to tell me about a particular project or family you're working on, I'd love to hear about that as well.

Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks!

Brad Stauf, PGM membership coordinator

Hi Jathan,

I sent you a trusted list a couple weeks ago for John Warner-650. I've been separating and distinguishing the various John Warners which were quite entangled. Would you please add me to his trusted list for John Warner-650 so I can help keep them straight, and see if any new information is added to his profile?

Thank you, S

Hi Jathan,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Olivia, Thanks for contacting me. I have simply not been on Witktree all that often lately, and was unaware that the United Kingdom Project even broke up.I don't even know whta country level projects are currently available.

Hi Jathan,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Mayflower Project Member.

I see your profile doesn’t include a mayflower G2G Tag. See “Followed Tags” above. You should have the tag - mayflower -so you can follow pertinent Mayflower activities on G2G. When you add the tag, please include the names of passengers in whom you are interested. Thank you

Anne B. Leader Mayflower Project.

Hi! Here's the coding for the Affiliate sticker:

Template:Magna Carta Project Affiliate

Just copy it from the e-mail version you received of this post and paste it in your profile's bio.

Please let me know if you'd like to rejoin the project in the future.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers, Liz

Hi! If you're not a member of the Magna Carta project's Google Group (or you're set to no mail), you haven't heard about the project requirements in place that we're asking members to meet. If you ARE...you haven't chosen a Gateway yet.

Either way, please see the requirements at Space:Magna_Carta_Project_Members.

Also - if you're not a member of the Google Group- please go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/wikitreemagnacarta and send a join request (include your WikiTree-ID so that I know it's you).

Either way, please let me know sometime this month which Gateway to sign you up for at Space:Trail_Tracks - see the table at Category:Gateway_Ancestors and select one not marked "b".

Cheers, Liz

ps - the tag for the European Aristocrats project is EuroAristo and the tag for the Magna Carta project is Magna_Carta (if you wanted to edit/add them to your followed tags)

Welcome, and thanks for joining the Magna Carta project! Check out the project page for info on how we work & go to Magna Carta Base Camp to get started.

Give me a holler if you have any questions, or you can post in G2G (Magna_Carta).

There is also a Google Group for the project that is tied to WikiTree-36 (the project account). I can send you an invitation to the group if you'll send me a private message (that will give me your e-mail address, which I need in order to send the invite).

Cheers, Liz

Hey Jathan! So, according to GEDMATCH we're around 4th/5th cousins, but according to WikiTree we're 23rd cousins. I guess I haven't found our closer "shared ancestor" just yet :)

Update: 10/12/17 -- I just re-ran the WikiTree relationship test and now it says 15th cousins lol ...

Hi Jathan,

I've been working on the Chapin Family, along with others, creating biographies with footnotes and PGM sources. I see that you uploaded a GED profile for John Chapin-960 in February 2016. There already is a profile John Chapin-17. Would you please consider researching your additional child, Philippe and also the death date of John Chapin? If this differing information can be reconciled, please merge these two profiles. Thank you so much. Cheryl Skordahl (Aldrich-908)

Jathan,

I have awarded you the PGM badge. Welcome to the Project. Remember that this project is all about sourcing and connecting Puritan Great Migration profiles, so please become familiar with inline sourcing.

Also, we use Robert Charles Anderson's Great Migration Series as our definitive source, unless more recent, convincing research is available. A family tree, whether from Ancestry, MyHeritage or elsewhere, is not an acceptable source. What we want is evidence. You can find a link to the list of Anderson's sources on the PGM Project page.

Please let me know if you have any questions or problems, Vic
