During the Mexican Revolution, his family, along with other Mormon colonists, were driven out of Mexico. They eventually settled in Blanding, San Juan County, Utah.
He married Ida Mae Turley on November 1, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.[1][2][3]
Lorenzo passed away at an age of seventy-six on October 21, 1972. He is buried in the Blanding Cemetery.[5]
