Elizabeth Person was born about 1503 in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, daughter of William Pearson (~1477–1527).

Elizabeth (20) married Edward Hawtayne (22) (born about 1501 in Lew, Oxfordshire; son of Richard Hawtayne) in 1524 in Oxfordshire.

In the Visitations of the County of Oxford indicates that "Edward Hawtayne of the Ley in Com. Oxon." married "Elizabeth [sic] da. to Willm. persone of Banbury, Mercer." and had sons "Edward Hawtayne of the Ley sonne and heire" married to "Margaret da. to John Croker of Huknorton, in com. Oxon." and "Wolston 2. son." and daughters "Elisabeth mar. Edmond percye of Awston in com. Warw. 1st d." and "Friswife mar. to Parkin of Clarden in com. Warwicke. 2. dau."

The visitations of the county of Oxford : taken in the years 1566 by William Harvey, Clarencieux; 1574 by Richard Lee, Portcullis ; and in 1634 by John Philpott, Somerset, and William Ryley, Bluemantle. Together with The gatherings of Oxfordshire, collected by Richard Lee in 1574 ^[1]

Elizabeth died about 1539 in Adderbury, Oxfordshire, aged about 35.

Clare Pierson

Alva, do you have reliable source(s) to show that there two are sisters? I cannot find Millicent named in anything that I have seen. I know that it is very difficult for 1500 profiles. It would be great to get them established as separate people of the have them merged as one, whichever is what they were.
