Biography
Beloni Pepin was born on August 31, 1811 in Saint-Michel, Hertford, Lower Canada, son of Louis Pepin and Agathe Roque. [1]
On 25 Jan 1831, in Yamaska (St-Michel), Benoni Pepin minor son of Louis Pepin and Agathe Roc dite Lalancette married Bibiane Parenteau minor daughter of Michel Parenteau and Archange Giguère. Witnesses included both fathers, the bride (Bibienne Parenteau) and groom sign the register along with Michel Parenteau, brother of the bride. [2]
- Dispensation was obtained for a 3rd to 4th degree of consanguinity. They were second cousins once removed through Louis Giguère and his wife Elizabeth Deguire.
