Biography
Homer was born in 1842. He was the son of Jessie Williamson Peeples and Rebecca Harrison. He passed away in 1930.
- Sources differ as to whether his middle name was "Halcomb" or "Holcomb(e)". His grave memorial, unhelpfully, simply gives his middle initial, "H". All the other sourcers thus far accessed are transcriptions, from other sources or from each other, entered to the text consulted using some kind of a keyboard. There is, till now, no compelling reason to prefer "Halcombe" over "Holcomb(e)", nor vice versa.
