Anne Pearson's origins (parents, date and place of birth) are unknown. See research notes, below.

Anne Pearson was married 16 August 1611 at Irby-in-the-Marsh, Lincolnshire, to John Longley.^[1][2] Irby-in-the-Marsh is only 1.4 miles from Firsby, where her husband later held lands. John and Anne had children:

• William, baptized 2 June 1614 at Irby-in-the-Marsh^[3]
• John, baptized 1 May 1616, died 20 June 1616 at Firsby^[4]
• John, baptized 18 December 1618, died 10 May 1632 in Firsby^[5]
• Marie, baptized 5 September 1623 at Firsby^[6]

Her husband died before August 1639. Anne's date of death is unknown.

Research Notes

Possible Baptism/Father

In countless online trees, Anne is found as the daughter of EDWARD Pearson with a 1 April 1586 baptism in Gosberson, Lincolnshire.^[7] There is a source found for and Anne/Edward connection BUT more research is needed to confidently attribute these origins to the Anne Pearson who married John Longley in Irby in the Marsh, Lincolnshire. As Gosberson is over 30 miles from Irby in the Marsh, it seems unlikely that Anne Longley would have been from Gosberson. There are at least nine other women with a name similar to "Anne Pearson" who were baptized in Lincolnshire at the time the Anne of this profile was born. Parents previously attached, Edmund Pearson and Mary Wallson, are unsourced and were disconnected as Anne's parents until better sourcing is found.
