George Pattinson was born in 1860. He was the son of John Pattinson and Ann Davidson.^[1]

He married Gertrude Farrell in 1885.^[2]

On the 2nd July, at a private hospital, Adelaide, George, relict of Gertrude Pattinson, and father of Mesdames T. Miles and A. Gyton-Brown and Misses G. and E. Pattinson, of Mosman, N.S.W., and Baden Pattinson, of Maitland, S.A.
