The wedding was celebrated at St. Thomas' Church of England, Narandera, on 18th March, of Irene Elizabeth, second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Pattinson, of Roberts Street, Narandera, to William Thomas, the eldest son of the late Mr. A. Lovelock and Mrs. Lovelock, of Boree Creek. The Rev. J. O. Were officiated.

The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of white fristotene with hat and accessories to match. Her bouquet was of white dahlias, pink rose buds and maidenhair fern.

Mrs. F. Rankins, sister of the bride, attended the bride as matron of honour. Her frock was pale green jerseyline with mustard accessories. She carried a bouquet of dahlias and fern. She also wore a necklace of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom.

Mr. Frank Lovelock, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

After the ceremony, about 25 relatives and friends were received at the Australia Cafe by the bride's mother, who wore a black and white sheer frock. She carried a bouquet of dahlias and fern.

The usual toasts were honoured, after which the bride cut a two-tier wedding cake made by her sister, Mrs. F. Rankins, and decorated by Mr. J. Bourke.

Numerous telegrams of congratulations and many beautiful presents and cheques were received.

Mr. and Mrs. Lovelock are residing in Wagga at present, where Pte. Lovelock is stationed. ^[3]
