Biography

Jean Baptiste Paquet lived

Jean Baptiste was born 27 May 1729 and baptized the same day at the church of Saint-Charles-de-Charlesbourg, Charlesbourg, Canada, Nouvelle-France. He was the son of Jacques Pacquet (sic) and Marie Catherine Auclair and his godparents were Jean Baptiste Auclair, maternal uncle, and Louise Angelique Pacquet, daughter of François Pacquet and paternal aunt. ^[1]. Jean Baptiste Paquet, husband of Elisabeth Choret, about fifty-six years of age, died 11 Dec 1785 and was buried the following day in the Cemetery of Picotés, Québec, Province de Québec. Present were Robitaille, Kéler and many others. ^[2].

Jean Baptiste Paquet, son of Jacques Paquet and Marie Catherine Auclair, and Jeanne Elisabeth Chauret (sic), daughter of the late Ignace Chauret and Marie Magdeleine Feret, were married 24 Nov 1749 in the church of Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France.
