Jeanne Élisabeth Choret lived

Jeanne Elisabeth Choret was born 13 Nov 1727 and baptized the following day at Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. She was the daughter of Ignace Choret and Madeleine Feret and her godparents were Jean Baptiste Maisonbasse and Jeanne Guinot. [1]

Marriage

Jean Baptiste Paquet, son of Jacques Paquet and Marie Catherine Auclair, and Jeanne Elisabeth Chauret (sic), daughter of the late Ignace Chauret and Marie Magdeleine Feret, were married 24 Nov 1749 in the church of Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Among those present at the marriage were: Jacques Paquet and Catherine Auclair, father and mother of the groom; Pierre Paquet, brother of the groom; Noel Paquet, uncle of the groom; Georges Dumas, step-father of the bride; Joseph Dumas, brother of the bride; Romain Dolbec; Jean Baptiste Dubort; Pierre Laurent Lorthé; Louis Chevalier. Elisabeth Choret, widow of Jean Baptiste Paquet and of the age of eighty years, died 13 Mar 1808 and was buried 15 Mar 1808 in the cemetery of Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Québec, Bas-Canada. Present at the burial were Jean Vézina and Thomas Bédard. [4]
