Palmer-8948 and Palmer-16383 appear to represent the same person because: This is the same man. Please see DAR record & father's DAR record. Please merge. Thank you.

Palmer-16383 and Palmer-8948 do not represent the same person because: The two profiles are quite different in terms of actuarial data, parentage, geography. Perhaps the Mary Ann Cahusac is incorrectly attached to one of these John Palmers. More detailed research on all three subjects should be performed before committing the merge.

Palmer-16383 and Palmer-8948 appear to represent the same person because: The wives agree and both children are correct. The parentage is in dispute. I believe John Pamor is the correct father with his wife Marianne Gendron. In his will, he orders the change of his sons names to Palmer due to some sort of dispute with locals around the American Revolution. So John Pamor begat John Pamor at birth and then changed his name to John Palmer so he could get his inheritance. See The father John Pamor's will.
