In 1831, he was married to Susanna Simpson. They lived on a tract of land that was part of the original Bucks County land in Lower Makefield Township. They had a family of eight children:

Franklin, b.1848, married Martha Horne
Death
He passed away in 1873, of Typhoid Pneumonia.
