William Owens is Notable.

William John "Bill" Owens was a baseball shortstop in the Negro leagues. He played for several teams.^[1]

William John Owens was born in 1901. He was the son of Howard Owens and Anna Harlow.^[2]

His first wife was Mary Zelma Scott. In 1966, he married his second wife, Rogie Pritchett.^[3]

He died in 1999^[2][4] and is buried in Holy Cross and Saint Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.^[5]
