Brig Owens was an American professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins. ^[1]

Brigman Owens was born in 1943 in Linden, Texas. He was the son of Alfred Lee Owens and Roxie Love.^[2]

In 1965, he married Patricia Driskell.^[3] They had two daughters, Robin and Tracy.

He died on June 21, 2022, at the age of 79.^[4][5]
