Biography

Georgiana, child of George, was baptised on 29 December 1807 in Liverpool, St Anne, Lancashire, England.^[1]

Georgiana married Robert Lowe on 26 March 1836 in Holy Trinity, Chester, Cheshire, England.^[2]

In 1880 Georgiana's husband became a viscount and she became Viscountess Sherbooke.

She died in 1884. ^{[3] [4]}

She was an artist (draughtsman) and landscape gardener. She arrived in Melbourne, Australia on 1st October 1842 on the ship 'Aden' from Blackpool. She lived in Sydney from 1842-1850. The Mitchell library, Sydney, Australia's collection contains numerous views taken around Nelson Bay, many depicting Bronte and its gardens,
