Elizabeth was born at Belper, Derbyshire in 1851, the daughter of Thomas Orme and Ann Wragg.[1]
Her mother passed away in 1870.
At the time of the 1871 Census, aged 19 years, she was with her father, step-mother and two siblings at Derby, Derbyshire. She was working as a Mill Hand.[2]
On 14th April 1873, (aged 21) she married William Parker (23), a Boiler Maker, at the Parish Church of St Warburg, Derby.[3]
In 1881, William and Elizabeth were living within the parish of St Peter, Derby and had 3 children. William was working as a Boiler Maker Rivetter.[4]
