Cynthia W Oaks was born on February 23, 1797 in Canaan, Somerset, District of Maine, daughter of Levi Oaks (<1763–~1831) and Lydia Brown (1772–1850).[1]
Cynthia (16) married William M Stevens (19) (born on November 7, 1794 in Litchfield Corners, Litchfield, Kennebec, Maine, United States; son of William Stevens and Sarah (Witham) Stevens) on February 4, 1814 in Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine. Their son was John Franklin Stevens (1831–1902).
Cynthia died on October 1, 1857 in Rutland Township, Meigs, Ohio, United States, aged 60. She was buried in Miles Cemetery, Rutland, Meigs County, Ohio.[1]
Research Notes
Birth date is within 9 months of brother, Jonathan. One or the other is incorrect, since they are not listed as the same month.
Jonathan's FindAGrave memorial page states that Cynthia was a twin to Timothy, with a birth year of 1821. Research required.
