Research Notes

Pat Johnson was never referred to in my family by her full name; Patricia Maria Christina O'Sullivan. Yet the fact remains that on her marriage registration her full birth name is listed as Patricia Maria Christina O'Sullivan. Pat's own daughter Johnson-51139 refuses to believe this fact as I asked her and she answered in the negative. There must be a reason for this sin of omission but God only knows what it is.

Enter a personal reminiscence or story.
One of my most enduring memories of Pat was of her making my sister and I egg and lettuce sandwiches with chocolate milk shakes after we had come home from Melrose beach countless times. This was a ritual for my sister and I when we were children on holidays in Western Australia.

Another memory I have of Pat is visiting her at her Alfred Cove home before she went into aged care. Cousin Gabrielle Johnson came to visit Pat with her young son Max who was still a toddler then. I have photos of this day in my collection.
