I have Jamestown descendants as well as many Pioneer ancestors from colonial America on my maternal side. I have numerous Rev War/WW1/WW2/Civil War veterans in my tree both Confederate and Union soldiers. I was adopted by my step father at a young age but have a DNA test on here with a tree for my biological father who I did not connect with until I was in my late teens.
I am hoping my tree/DNA may help fellow adoptees/estranged family connect pieces of their puzzle as well. Everyone at least deserves that.
Surnames I am currently researching, Morales, Figueroa, Gonzalez, Nunez, Rio, Rosario, Mejias, Roman (All from Puerto Rico)
Current research: Bradley, Dunwoody, Hamill, McKeven, L

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!
It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

My 3xGGM was Jane Nuckols who married Eleazer Ellis in Henrico County. The Nuckols and Ellis families were neighbors along Tuckahoe Creek near the the Henrico/Goochland border. Jane and Eleazer were the pioneers in my line who headed west as a married couple to KY about 1800. I've visited Glasgow (Barren County) KY and spent a day in the county archives. It seems the families traveled together, I found both surnames in deed books and the like, most likely went west to claim Rev War land grants.
I am pleased to confirm you as a full member, and welcome you to the WikiTree family as your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to help answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a name back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site
Happy tree climbing
