Margaret was the daughter of John Nowell and Eliza Simpson. She was baptised at Congleton, Cheshire on 29 April 1829.[1] There is also a record on Familysearch for her baptism at Holy Trinity, Ripon, Yorkshire on 6 January 1830.[2]
