Biography

Sophia was born January 7, 1832 in Buffalo, Erie, New York, USA., the daughter of Walter and Sophia Norton. She was baptised June 29, 1850 at Grace Episcopal Church in Buffalo, Erie county.^[1]

She married Rev. Montgomery Schuyler on May 29, 1854 at Grace Episcopal Church in Buffalo, Erie, New York.^[2]

She died May 14, 1921 at her home The Shelter in Pelham Manor, New York and funeral services were held at Church of the Blessed Sacrament in New Rochelle, Westchester county, New York.^[3]

Her Will was filed at White Plains, New York on June 8th.^[4]

She left $9,500 In real estate and gives $1,000 each to her children:
