Biography
Joseph was born in 1878. He was the son of Joseph Neibert and Alice Horine. He passed away in 1964.
J. Franklin Neibert, 85, of 124 West Third Street, died this morning at 1:50 a.m. at the Waynesboro Hospital.
He had been in failing health for the past three years and bedfast for the last two weeks. Mr. Neibert was admitted to the hospital at 11 p.m. yesterday.
He was born in Washington County, MD., son of the late Joseph E. & Alice Horine Neibert.
Mr. Neibert was a dairyman and farmer all of his life in this area and moved to Waynesboro in April 1951.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Disert Neibert; these children, Wilbur T. Neibert, Waynesboro; Mrs. Mary Stephey, at home; Miss Hazel E. Neibert, Hagerstown; Mrs. Florence N. Kauffman, Waynesboro; Mrs. Mildred P. Philipsen, Ashland, N.J.; Bruce I. Neibert, Waynesboro; Warren H. Neibert, Hagerstown; and Dr. Harold C. Neibert, York; sister, Mrs. Grace Wellings, Hearthstone; also 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Interment will be made in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
