From Find A Grave Memorial (Dennis York): Nancy Ann MYRICK is the daughter of Emsely Park MYRICK and his wife Sarah HARRISON of Randolph County, North Carolina.

Nancy Ann MYRICK, age 14, married William Yancy YORK, age 23, for his third relationship as documented with a Randolph County, North Carolina marriage bond on 30 August 1846. Mary Ann MYRICK soon learned about the polygamous activities of her new husband William Yancy YORK. Mary Ann quickly left the marriage and joined a group of friends and neighbors traveling in a wagon train going north to Morgan County, Indiana in 1847. Mary Ann MYRICK, age 16, soon married her Randolph County, North Carolina neighbor Peter McCOLLUM, age 18, on 20 December 1848 in Adams Township, Morgan County, Indiana, USA. They were the parents to eight children, all born in Indiana.
