Biography

Fanny was born about 1819. She was the daughter of John Munt and Jane Turner.

At the time of the 1841 census at Weston, Fanny was in the household of her father, John. Her daughter, Sarah was also listed.

There was a Walter Munt (son of Fanny) christened at Weston on the 7th of August 1842. ^[1]

Fanny Munt (Spinster) married William Hance (bachelor) in 1845 ^[2]

The 1851 census has Fanny and William (a Builders Labourer) at Park Road, Clapham. Her daughter, Sarah is listed as Sarah Hance (born c. 1840, Weston). Also listed are William, Archer and Julia Hance - the couples children. ^[3]

The 1861 census at Park Place, Clapham has Fanny and William along with William and five, Clapham born children. ^[4] An Albert Hance (born c. 1854 Clapham) is listed as a son. No GRO record has been sourced for Albert.However a christening for Albert on 30th of July 1854 at Holy Trinity, Clapham is recorded. ^[5]

In the 1881 census at Streatham, London. Minnie (21, single) was a Laundress in the household of her widowed mother, Fanny (62). Fanny was also a Laundress. ^[6]

She passed away in 1886.
