Biography

Martha Caroline was born 16 Apr in 1852 in Alabama; she died 13 Mar 1938 in Cisco, Eastland County, Texas.^[1] She married Tillman H Reeves about 1871 in Alabama and they had six children. After Tillman's death in Nov 1885, Martha Caroline had a child with an old family friend, George D Lane, named Catherine Maud Isabelle ("Belle") Reeves. The identity of Belle's father was not known until DNA testing confirmed it in 2013.
