Biography

David Miller was born at Frederick, Maryland Colony. He is the son of Johann Heinrich (John Henry) Miller and Catherine Bigler. He married Catherine Kast at Frederick, Maryland, on 4 May, 1790. He is the father of Henry Miller, Samuel Miller, Phillip John Miller, William David Miller, and Sarah Miller, by Catherine Kast.

After Catherine's death, David married Maria Catherina Getzendanner. By Maria, he is the father of John Abraham Miller, Catherine Eleanor Miller Hedges, Joseph Getzendanner Miller, Harrison Miller, David G. Miller, Mary Ann Miller Smith, and Sarah Jane Miller Weller.

At some time, David Miller moved his family to Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He died there. He is buried in Fayette County, PA.
