Biography
Sarah was born in Perry Co., Indiana[1] in 1815[2]. Certainly her entire adult life was spent there in Perry Co.[2][3][4][5] including her marriage to James Avis in 1835[6]. She appeared in each census through 1880 in Perry Co. (the last two as a widow) and passed away about 1882[7].
