Christain was born about 1761. A Private the Pennsylvania Infantry . He enlisted in the Army of the United States on the 17th. day of July 1778, he was employed during this term of enlistment as a teamster. re-enlisted in the Spring of 1779, He was present at surrender of Cornwallls. From Pension Applcation. ervice Description: Militia Colonel Daniel Hunter, Captain John Faseck, Colonels Wadsworth and Carter. Also teamster for General Wagon Master Haller.[1]
