Julie Marie Means was born on September 16, 1947, in Maryland, the child of William Gaston and Marie Emma. She had one son from one relationship. She then married George Arnold Finkle on February 15, 1969, in Alexandria, Virginia. She then married George William Kane and they had two children together. Julie moved 3 times during her lifetime. She lived in Louisburg, North Carolina, in 1984 and moved to Hillsdale, New York, by 2003.
