It is once again time for our annual Ireland Project check-in. Please respond within the next three weeks to let us know:
You can respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within the next three weeks we’ll assume your interests have changed or you no longer are able to participate in the Ireland Project at this time, and your badge will be removed. If your circumstances change later you will be welcome to reapply for membership.
Many thanks for all that so many of you have contributed to the project in the past year, and very special thanks to those who answered the project’s call and gave generously of their time to be part of Team Seanchaithe during the most recent connect-a-thon. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Here are my responses: 1. Yes! I'd very much like to stay on as a member of the Ireland Project. I forget when exactly I joined and what team(s). I'm still learning via Scotland project about how to best add to older (pre-1900's and even further, pre-18 or 1700's) profiles. As someone who lives in the U.S., this includes locating and becoming more familiar with older sources such as church, tax, census and other records from Ireland, Scotland and England and how to glean information from those.
2. I haven't participated in the Ireland Project for very long and am not in the know enough about overall Project activity to have a solid answer for this question. One suggestion is to have new members be assigned a profile or two that are in need of additional sources and refer the members to 2-5 of the top/best possible records sources to see if the profile can be improved. Or assign them categorization goals for profiles in need of it.
3. Likely D.; as indicated in answer 1, I'm still building skills for working on older profiles from Ireland, Scotland and England via The Scotland Project. I appreciate being part of the Ireland Project and contributing what I'm able to as I continue to learn.
4. Not sure if this has already been done, but maybe a rotating quarterly focus theme-or whatever frequency works, where project members work on profiles from different counties or regions, or categorizations, or surname groups.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
