Biography

Iain or John MacNaughton was the son of Duncan McNaughton of Perthshire, Scotland^[1]

His wife was Catherine Stewart, (1756-1830), daughter of Alexander Stewart and Mary MacNaughton of Perthshire^[1].

Their children included:

1. Christina, born 1785, who married Robert Weeds, and who died in 1865^{[2] [1]}
2. Duncan, born 1787 in Fortingall, Perthshire, Scotland, who married Margaret McPherson and died without children^{[3] [4] [1]}
