Biography
Robert Bruce McCaleb was born in 1823, in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, United States as the son of F. McCaleb and S.[1]
Robert (45) married Sarah Taylor Walker (22) (born on January 20, 1847 in Potts Creek, Alleghany, Virginia, United States; daughter of Henry Walker and Maria Rankin (Shawver) Walker) on July 1, 1869 in Alleghany.[2]
Their children were:
- John H. McCaleb (1870–1885)
- Mary McCaleb (1872–>1880)
- Robert Marshall McCaleb (1876–1963)
- Thomas Busby McCaleb (1879–1949)
In 1870 and 1880, Robert lived in Boiling Spring, Alleghany, Virginia, United States.[3][4]
He died on 13 October 1892, in Weston, Lewis, West Virginia, United States, at the age of 69,[5] and was buried in Weston State Hospital Cemetery, Weston, Lewis, West Virginia, United States.[6]
