Biography

Frances (Mann) Malone was born in Appalachia, in Georgia.

Frances Mann, daughter of John and Mary (Hubbard) Mann, was born 16 March 1801 in Elbert County, Georgia.[1][2]

She married (1) _____ Dumas, c1820; (2)[3] Thomas Malone, 24 May 1827, in Monroe County Georgia.[4][5]

Thomas and Frances had at least one daughter, Lucinda, who married James W. Gaulding in Monroe County, Georgia in 1847.[6]

Research Notes

Thomas and Frances Malone of Columbus are named as parents of James W. Gaulding's wife, "L. J. Malone" in his obituary, published 2 March 1878 in the Southern Standard, Arkadelphia, Arkansas.[7]
