Hello J., hope all is well with you. After digesting the information and sources on 2 profiles, Landes-566, and Landis-1509, I have concluded that these are the same person. Now, I know the last name is spelled differently, but that is not uncommon with the Landis/Landes name. Also I realize the years are not exactly the same, but they need edited per the sources. Alexander and Henrietta are buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery, in York, Pennsylvania. Additionally if you are wondering, I know the profile manager of the other profile, James Landes, James and I are distantly related, and have been working together on family profiles together for several years. Could you review the 2 mentioned profiles above at your convenience, and give me your opinion. You have a good rest of the day.

Can you help with this guy who attended the estate sale of Henry Wilson? Know who he is? I am pretty sure he is not the Edward B Myers who ended up in Lancaster that ancestry.com keeps shoving at me. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Myers-19699

Thanks, Your cuz from the Bachman Valley (we must be, right?)

Hi Jane, I looked into this and wasn't able to find anything. Sorry for the delayed response.

We are indeed probably cousins or in-laws of some sort -- 13 degrees of separation: my closest relative to you is Elizabeth (Menche) Markel (1804-1887). Merry Christmas!

I just want to say (again) hi, and thank you for all the work you've done on the Bachman Valley families. Jane

Hi, I just wanted to ask whether you had seen the merge proposal for Weber-5950 and Weber-6504 and intended to act on it. When I created the latter profile I thought the two Harry Webers were more likely to be two different people, but have since found an obituary that confirms they are one and the same. It's cited on the profile and available on Newspapers.com. I can try to provide more information if you think it necessary. Thanks!

HI J,

Re... Julien_dit_St-Julien-1

just to let you know that women in Quebec do not take their husband's name at marriage. They keep their LNAB.

See this page for naming standards for Quebecois project...

Hi J., Thank you for the note!

I did not create the two profile but was added to the trusted list for both and will look into finding some proper sources for them soon as I can. Then I will remove the Ancestry sources.

Hi J.,

I see you edited and cleaned up the bio for Martha (Groce) Selman (abt. 1686 - 1728) (Groce-7). It would be nice of you to post a comment on the profile as to why you're making changes and what source you added to verify your changes. None of the Ancestry sources added to this profile work. For those that do not have an Ancestry account, the sources are not usable by most WikiTreers. This is what you see when you click one of the links in the source; "We’re sorry, this page is no longer available."

Thank you, David
