Biography

Robert was born in Islington, London in 1851, the son of Andrew Malcolm and Jemima Souter. ^[1]

Robert emigrated to New Zealand with his family in 1868, his mother Jemima, sisters Kate and Isabella, and brother Frank; arrived as passengers aboard the clipper Matoaka in Lyttleton on the 8th of February 1869. ^[2]

He married Annie Maria Campbell in 1882.^[3]

Malcolm - June 24, 1885, at his residence, Merivale, Robert Malcolm, in his 32nd year. (probate to Annie Maria Malcolm)
